Like many members I am caught between wanting to make sure we’re not throwing good money after bad and we’re not just staving off an inevitable bankruptcy, and the earnest desire to make sure that given the impact that failure any of the automakers would have on employment and jobs, that we are doing everything we responsibly can to protect the jobs of the American workers. I have got to make sure the plan deals with the right systematic approach and it protects American taxpayers, in that it is going to be the right step towards making sure we are rebuilding for the long-term a reliable industry.
