Morning Coffee (12/1/08)

Good morning, and happy December! I can't believe it's December already; November flew by. We finally got some snow yesterday, though, so that's something. Of course, that meant that everyone seemed to forget how to drive.

National Update: President-Elect Obama is expected to name his national security team today, including Senator Clinton for Secretary of State. It sounds like even more shoppers than usual were out on Black Friday, but since there were such huge discounts, profits weren't necessarily up much. Governor Palin is campaigning in the Georgia Senate race. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is headed to India this week to help with the aftermath of the attacks in Mumbai.

The New Hampshire Senate and House have a variety of meetings today. The big thing going on in the state legislature this week is Organization Day on Wednesday.
