Morning Coffee (11/1/08)

Good morning! Happy November! Is it just me, or does it seem like October flew by? Three days to go! Unfortunately, I am headed out of town for the weekend. I know! Awful timing. But a good friend is getting married and I wouldn't want to miss it. I'll be staying at my parents' house, and bringing my netbook, so I hope to keep blogging fairly regularly. But the volume will definitely be lower than what I've been doing the past few days. If anything huge happens in any of the state races that you think I may miss, e-mail me and I'll post it as soon as possible. Thanks!

National Update: The conversation is still focused on whether the polls are tightening and whether it matters. Not a whole lot else new going on - Obama is going on air in a few new red states including McCain's home state of Arizona; McCain is pulling money out of other GOTV things to match Obama's level of TV ads in some swing states (but not here, as we've discussed). Barack and Michelle Obama are in Colorado, Missouri, and Nevada today, while Joe and Jill Biden are campaigning in Ohio and Indiana. John McCain is campaigning in Virginia and Pennsylvania, Sarah Palin is in Florida, North Carolina, and Virginia, and Rudy Giuliani is campaigning for McCain in Nevada. Senator McCain will be on Saturday Night Live tonight.
